Creating an illuminating look book for NOVE

BRIEF

When independent British lighting company NOVE needed a new look book to showcase its high-end, beautifully designed contemporary cork lighting, it turned to LJB Studio. Tasked with managing the art direction, graphic design, paper specification and print production, a multipurpose printed publication was produced. 

SOLUTION

Celebrating the launch of NOVE’s first ‘Cork Collection’, and highlighting its commitment to using natural, sustainable materials, two complementary, responsibly-sourced recycled paper stocks were specified. Flecked detailing mirrored the design elements of the cork, providing a subtle yet effective finish. 

IMPACT

A flexible format, comprising the brand’s story, individual cards for each product and material samples, meant that as the collection grows, additional content can be added with ease – making the solution both environmentally sound and cost-effective. The resulting publication puts the brand’s honesty, quality and dedication to sustainability firmly in the spotlight.
